The Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) organizes the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
(NEET) for admission in MBBS and BDS programmes. With effect from 2016, NEET is
the only entrance exam for admission in medical courses. Students start
preparing for the exam from class XI to join the prestigious medical
profession. The NEET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted in the first week of
May, 2018 and the application process will start from last week of December,
2017. So, here is the first thing you require; NEET latest syllabus 2018.
NEET is conducted in
offline mode (paper-pen format). The question booklet consists of 180
objective/Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) which have to be attempted in 3
hours. +4 marks are awarded for each correct answer with a negative marking of
1 mark for each incorrect answer. Here is a distribution of 180 questions:
