Subject –Wise UGC NET Syllabus 2017


The UGC NET syllabus is quite comprehensive. The exam consists of 3 papers namely; Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. The Paper 1 is related to General aptitude, whereas Paper 2 and Paper 3 are related to the subject choice filled-in by the candidate during online application process. Paper 1 is common for all candidates. Here is the subject-wise UGC NET syllabus for November session exam.

The paper is designed in a way to test candidate's research aptitude, teaching aptitude and general intelligence quotient. He or she should possess high cognitive abilities to become a good teacher/professor in future. People and Environment

Ø Communication nature, characteristics, types, barriers and effective classroom communication.

All students should read UGC NET syllabus attentively before undertaking the preparation of the exam. The Paper 1 plays crucial role in this exam. It is often seen that candidates are able to score equally well in Paper 2 and Paper 3 because these papers are related to the subjects of their choice. But their performance in Paper 1 gives them competitive edge over other. Therefore, UGC NET exam 2017 aspirants should pay equal attention to Paper 1 along with Paper 2 and Paper 3.
